CONFINED SPACES AND Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
Welcome to Liftek Training Centre.
This course is suitable for persons entering, persons on stand-by and persons issuing permits. This course includes the use of gas detection equipment, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
Participants will learn to complete hazard identifications, risk assessments and work permits for confined space operations and how to operate various
confined spaces and breathing apparatus equipment.
Covers basic confined space entry skills, along with more advanced confined space training, including gas testing and the issuing of confined space entry permits.
All 100% face-to-face training.
Participants must be physically capable of wearing a harness and climbing into a tank safely. You will receive a statement of attainment on the completition of your course.
What they need to bring:
Safe Work NSW criteria for 100 points of Identification. (You must supply 100 points including (1) form of current photo identification and proof of NSW address.)
Wear comfortable and practical clothing and fully enclosed footwear.
USI Instructions – Attendees must bring their USI number

There are literacy, language and numeracy requirements in this course. Participants must be able to read and interpret clearly in English.
