The TLILIC0023 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes) is designed for people who want to gain the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes, in accordance with all relevant legislative responsibilities, for licensing purposes.
This unit is based upon the
National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and is a legal requirement for any person who operates slewing mobile cranes up to 60 tonnes.
This certificate is for:
- People who require a licence to operate a slewing mobile crane with a Maximum Rated
Capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes
Other information:
Participants will need to be able to plan for the work/task, prepare for the work/task, perform work/task and pack up on completion of work/task.
Before and during the training, it is vital that participants commit extra time to study course materials.
This will ensure that they have the best chance possible of completing the assessment exam to SafeWork NSW standards and being accredited to perform C6 Crane operations.
Requirements & other info for the course
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to apply for the respective licence.
Participants must also have a reasonable understanding of the English language and provide adequate 100 points of identification.
What they need to bring:
Safe Work NSW criteria for 100 points of Identification. (You must supply 100 points including (1) form of current photo identification and proof of NSW address).
USI Instructions – Attendees must bring their USI number https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi.
Ensure you wear a long sleeve workshirt and work trousers
Steel capped boots are to be worn
Bring sunglasses
